Faculty defines the AI. AI extends the faculty.
AI Persona - Configured Per Department
The AI that teaches in a Computer Science workbook should not behave identically to the AI in a Philosophy seminar. Gurujada does not offer a generic AI. Faculty configures the AI persona for their workbook.
Configuration Dimensions
Personality - Warm and encouraging, Socratic and questioning, precise and minimal, formal and structured. A Mathematics faculty member may prefer an AI that poses counter-questions and never gives a direct answer. An MBA faculty member running case studies may prefer an AI that summarizes arguments and asks students to evaluate trade-offs.
Teaching Style - Derivation-first for sciences. Case-study-first for management and law. Counter-question for philosophy and critical reasoning.
Boundaries - Guide students through reasoning, never provide the direct answer to an assessment question. Do not reference any textbook other than the one listed in the syllabus. Always ask what the student has already tried before offering a hint.
Separation by Department
Engineering AI, Humanities AI, and Management AI are different configurations of the same underlying capability. A student asking about contract law gets different guidance than a student asking about differential equations - because the faculty member who owns that workbook configured it that way.
Engineering AI is not Humanities AI is not Management AI.
